During my four years at Lincoln Southeast High School in Lincoln Nebraska I was heavily involved with the theatre department. I was a dresser for nine shows, seven of which I was also the costumes hair and makeup designer. We sourced most of our costumes from various costume shops however I took many opportunities to make some of the costumes myself.

Crimes At The Old Brewery These were the brewery tenants with their leader Jack (sitting in the chair), his wife Margaret (girl in the black and red dress behind him) and their ward Blind Alice (directly behind Jack). Some of these people played minor characters like The Rat (last person on the left), Mohawk (man with the top hat in the back), Dead Leg (the guy leaning on the crutch), Pretty Polly and Bridget Cole (the two girls sitting to the left of Jack) and the Apple woman (the girl with the basket in front of Mohawk).

This was the group of wealthy people from the church along with Inspector Burns (on the right) and the Brewery owner (kneeling on the left)

Alice In Wonderland: The Theme of these Costumes was survival so I costumed the characters as if they had all fallen into Wonderland through the rabbit hole at different periods in history. The tea party group was inspired by the Georgian period. The three queens are inspired by the victorian period. The court of the queen of hearts are a mix of many different periods. As this was a high school production we didnt have a large costume budget so many of the pieces are repurposed or handmade.
